Sweet Rand

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week at Palm Valley Montessori.  Rand decided at 7:55 this morning that he wanted to write a note and buy flowers for one of his teachers who just graduated college.  Who I am to say no to a sweet gesture?!  So he wrote a note and drew a picture all by himself, bought a pot of mini yellow roses with his own money, and we flew off to school.

He also has been having me take lots of pictures of his Lego creations so we can send them into the Lego Jr Magazine....they publish photos of kids with their original Lego inventions.  Hopefully he gets in at some point, because he is building his little heart out!

Yesterday was a great day at our house....we had some friends come over after school and they played outside for three hours and were absolutely filthy when they came inside.  They caught dozens of ladybugs and let them all go (it's a ladybug party in the pasture right now) and played in the dirt/mud until it was time for dinner and baths.
