The Nutcracker

I have loads of pictures and events to catch up on, like always -- we went to the "The Nutcracker" performed by Ballet Arizona in December and it was amazing!  Ella was beaming the whole time and wanted her picture taken everywhere.  The kids were mesmerized during the show and immediately wanted to go and see it again.  At the intermission, Ella chose a small Nutcracker ornament for our souvenir.  It was such a fun family outing!



 

 

Rand got a book of children's poems for Christmas.  It has a CD that features certain poems being read aloud.  Rand likes to listen to it at bedtime as he falls asleep.

Last night he asked me to stay in his room and listen to a poem with him, because he couldn't understand it and wanted me to explain it to him.

"Sure," I said.  "What's the poem called?"

"Jabberwocky."
