Bike!

Rand got a big boy bike for Christmas! His confidence comes and goes, but when he sets his mind to it he does a great job riding it.

She talks! and talks and talks and talks!

Ella is an amazing little chatterbox. When she's in the right mood, she'll try to copy every word you say. She says so many words and phrases now that it's hard to keep track, but for posterity's sake, I'm writing down just a few of my favorite Ella words:

More milk!
Help help!
Here here (said whenever she wants to give you something)

It's hard being one.

Some Rand quotes....

On our way back from California (again!):
Rand: "Mom, how much farther?"
Me: "About four hours."
Rand: "I think we need to buy a racecar."


Me: "Rand, did you open the door and let the dog out?"
Rand: "No, I opened the door to let my train in."


And that all-important comma....

Me: "I need to take out the trash tonight. Don't forget, Rand!"
Rand: "Don't forget me where?"
