Rand informed his Sunday school teachers this morning that the snack of pretzel sticks was "just not enjoyable."

Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day started off with a funtastic amount of sugar! Daddy brought home heart-shaped donuts from Dunkin Donuts, and Grandpa sent his always delicious boxes of See's Candy. We shared Valentine's card and had heart-shaped pancakes, then Rand had a Valentine's party at school. It was a very sweet day.

They are always so funny to watch with their boxes of candy. Ella's box has a kitty cat on the front, and she requests to take her "cat box" everywhere: "Mama, can I take my cat box to bed?" "Can I take my cat box to Puggles?" Rand always agonizes for minutes trying to choose which chocolate to eat next and usually switches them out 2 or 3 times before he makes his final choice.

Happiness

Rand has started drawing in the last two weeks. His silly, happy people always make me smile.

Irvine Park Day

On our trip to California in December, we had a fun day trip to the Irvine Regional Park. We started out with a giant leaf-throwing fight!

Ella just wanted to watch and smile at first, but after a while she couldn't resist throwing some leaves at Grandpa.

We raced to the zoo, followed by some tree climbing, a picnic, and a train ride!
