Happy birthday, Ella!

Ella turned one while we were on vacation.  It was really sweet to be able to celebrate her first birthday with so many family members!

Rand became bosom friends with this broom.  He named it "Paki" and loved sweeping the sidewalk.

Sunday morning we went over to my Uncle Guy's house.  He has a very cool farm.  Aunt Cinndy brought out this tractor and Rand and John had a great time pulling each other around.  

Ella took a nap in Grandma's arms.  Grandma is the best at rocking her to sleep.

Rand loved feeding the chickens.  There was also a pig that Rand found fascinating.

Aunt Becky brought along pink balloons and streamers so we could decorate our eating tent.

This was how we spent most of our vacation.

We feasted on hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and watermelon!

Birthday cake was in short supply, but we got some a Hostess cupcake and stuck a candle in it.  Perfect!

Ella was gracious enough to let Rand blow out the candle.

Ella got a ball, bucket, and watering can from Aunt Becky and Uncle Geff.....Rand commandeered them all, but luckily she doesn't mind.

Grandpa and Grandma got Ella her first doll.

Happy birthday, Miss Ella!  We sure love you.
